Set of two Lewis Darne machine guns.
The Lewis light machine gun is a gas operated, air cooled, full automatic only weapon that fires from an open bolt. It has a fixed barrel surrounded by an aluminum radiator which is enclosed in a tubular barrel jacket. Saw service during WWI and early stages of WWII with land troops, airplanes and even ships.
Specific version of the famous Lewis machine gun produced by the French firm Darne.
