Description
Contains two SQUID mortars.
These mortars were found on Royal Navy escort ships at the end of WWII. It consisted of a three-barrelled mortar which launched depth charges. It replaced the hedgehog system, and was in turn replaced by the Limbo system. SQUID was credited with sinking 17 submarines during WWII. SQUID remained in service with the Royal Navy until 1977.
