Contains 2 x type 89 AA twin mount under protective shield of the Imperial Japanese Navy.
This model of AA gun was found on almost all large ships of the Imperial Japanese Navy during the Pacific War. It was found onboard carriers, battleships, cruisers, heavy and light and was in use too for protection of some important shore areas.
Rustic with a high rate of fire, it was nevertheless inferior in performance to its US 5in./38 counterpart.
